This inspection is identical to a Home Buyer's inspection. The only difference is the Seller has paid for this home inspection. This allows the Seller to know "Now" of any defects or problems. And the Buyer is made aware of the home's condition when making an offer. Why wait until you've spent time and energy negotiating a price only to be faced with surprises afterward? Re-negotiating is difficult for both Buyer and Seller. More and more Sellers are having their home inspected when they list their property to sell.
